Tottenham have another winger in mind should they fail in their pursuit of Adama Traore, according to reports. Nuno Espirito Santo and Fabio Paratici both want to bring Traore to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but time is running out for them to strike a deal.

Wolves are standing firm on their stance that they’ll only sell if the right offer comes in.

So far, Tottenham have seemingly refused to meet those demands with reports suggesting Wolves want £50million.

Nuno is a big fan of Traore having helped the speedy winger realise his potential at Wolves.

The Spaniard has two years left on his contract and Wolves have so far been unsuccessful in trying to agree new terms.

Reports have suggested that Traore is keen on a move to Tottenham, but Wolves are standing in the way at the moment.

With just a few hours left of the transfer window, Spurs are seemingly looking at alternative options.

According to Football London, Tottenham hold an interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The 20-year-old has impressed for Rubin Kazan and is being tipped for a bright future.

But the report adds that any new signing on the wings would lead to a formation change after the international break.

It is claimed that Son Heung-min would be pushed up top to play alongside Harry Kane.

That would almost certainly mean a change in midfield with Kvaratskhelia or Traore fighting with Bryan Gil, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn for a place on the wings.

Son filled in for Kane in the first two games of the season, playing as Tottenham’s central striker.

And he’s scored the winner for Spurs against Manchester City and Watford with Nuno’s side sitting top of the Premier League.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp and Dele Alli have been the preferred trio in midfield.

But if Nuno opts to play two strikers with Son and Kane then one of the three midfielders may have to drop out.
