Tottenham are poised to hand Serge Aurier a hefty £140,000 fine after he broke lockdown rules for a third time.
The Frenchman posted a photo on Instagram after he'd had his haircut with the hairdresser in shot.
His actions have angered the north London club who are ready to hand him a maximum fine of two weeks wages.
Tottenham feel as if his actions have embarrassed the club and it could count against the defender in the future, reports The Sun.
He and Moussa Sissoko have already apologised for flouting lockdown rules prior to his recent breach.
The pair went out running together before a picture went online which was after Aurier was spotted exercising with a friend.
But the 27-year-old has come out fighting and defended his recent actions.
He said: “My hairdresser is negative and me too so stop talking in a vacuum and put on masks and gloves when you come to take pictures at the training centre. It’s part of the rules too.”
Tottenham have found themselves embroiled in several lockdown incidents.
Manager Jose Mourinho was seen at a park training with midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
