Manchester United have still got plenty of work to do in the transfer window as Erik ten Hag pushes for the club to a new midfielder following the departure of Paul Pogba. Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong is Ten Hag’s prefered candidate but Christian Eriksen is also a bargain option.

Liverpool have acted quickly to sign Darwin Nunez with Sadio Mane set to join Bayern Munich. However, Jurgen Klopp has been dealt another headache as he is reportedly set to lose Mohamed Salah in 12 months.

Chelsea are holding talks with Inter Milan today where they will try to reach an agreement for Romelu Lukaku to return to the San Siro. That could then pave the way for Raheem Sterling to move from Manchester City.

While Arsenal are looking to make more signings with Fabio Vieira’s signing poised to be confirmed and Gabriel Jesus in the frame to follow him soon after.

Chelsea ‘agree’ Lukaku loan to Inter Milan

Chelsea have now reached an ‘agreement in principle’ to loan Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan, according to reports.

Inter’s first offer was rejected but the two parties have returned to the table and now reached an ‘agreement’, according to The Athletic.

The striker will re-join Inter on a season-long loan with no option or obligation for the deal to become permanent next summer.

Lukaku joined the Blues from Inter only last summer, with the Stamford Bridge outfit paying an astronomical £98m fee.

Ajax have firm stance on Ten Hag’s Man Utd transfer plans

Ajax do not want Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United transfer plans to decimate their squad, according to reports.

Several stars from the Dutch club have been linked with following Ten Hag to Old Trafford.

Winger Antony is reportedly close to signing for the Red Devils. Defenders Jurrien Timber and Lisandro Martinez are reportedly of interest to Ten Hag, too.

The Mirror reports that Ajax will not allow the 52-year-old to rip apart the squad he spent four and-a-half years building, though, and could need to pick between Antony and Martinez.

    Southampton sign Bella-Kotchap

Southampton have confirmed the signing of young defender Armel Bella-Kotchap from VFL Bochum.

The 20-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Saints. He made 22 appearances in the Bundesliga last term.

Bella-Kotchap, a Germany U21 international, has previously been of interest to Crystal Palace.

    Chelsea keep tabs on Lewandowski

Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Robert Lewandowski’s discussions with Barcelona, according to reports.

Thomas Tuchel is keen to add a new striker to his Blues squad, especially with Romelu Lukaku understood to be rejoining Inter Milan.

According to 90min, veteran goalscorer Lewandowski has been earmarked as a possible signing.

The Poland captain wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer and has been strongly linked with Barca. However, Chelsea could hijack a deal.

    Arsenal confirm Vieira transfer

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hailed new signing Fabio Vieira as a ‘special talent’ and listed three reasons for signing the playmaker from Porto.

The Portuguese midfielder has been signed in a deal worth around £34m and is Arteta’s second summer purchase.

The Spaniard is keen to add depth to his midfield and has acquired Vieira for three reasons. He said that the 22-year-old is creative, versatile and of ‘high quality’.

Arteta told the club’s website: ”I am very excited that we have identified and signed such a special talent. Fabio is a very creative player that will bring high quality and versatility to our attacking play.

“We welcome Fabio and his family to our club and are looking forward to starting work with him ahead of the new season.”

Leeds told Raphinha and Phillips sales can be a positive

Simon Jordan believes Leeds selling key duo Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips can be positive. The former Crystal Palace chairman has insisted the Whites can only rekindle their place among England’s most successful clubs if they make a profit on their best players.

Raphinha has been linked with Arsenal while Phillips is expected to join Manchester City.

“If Leeds United are going to sell these players – if that’s what they’re going to do – then there are bigger clubs like Man City, not bigger clubs but bigger in terms of achievements, [who] these players are going to want to go to,” Jordan told TalkSPORT.

“What you want to be able to achieve is [to receive] the maximum amount of money. ‘You want our best players, the ones who we have cultivated and developed and been part of our framework’. Hopefully they have the contracts to protect them, and you have to pay for it.

“You have to pay top money so that Leeds United can kick on and regain their poise, and start the redevelopment back to the big club that their stature and size tells us they should be.”

    Tottenham plan Spence talks

Tottenham Hotspur are set for more talks over the signing of Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence, according to Sky Sports.

Daniel Levy is taking control of the deal, while Fabio Paratici focuses on other targets, as Tottenham look to back Antonio Conte with several new names in his first summer window as boss.

Spurs failed to reach an agreement during the initial round of talks, but Spence is said to want the move after impressing on loan at Nottingham Forest last season.

Moyes wants at least six in at West Ham

David Moyes wants ‘at least six’ summer signings at West Ham United, according to Sky Sports.

West Ham have secured their first addition of the transfer window, completing a £30m deal for Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd.

The Hammers are ‘increasingly confident’ of agreeing personal terms with goalkeeper Alfonse Areola and triggering the £11m option to buy him.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja is also on Moyes’ radar and the club are ready to make their interest concrete amid links to a £30m bid.

Finally, West Ham remain interested in Jesse Lingard, who will become a free agent on July 1.

    Mane pictured in Bayern colours

Bayern Munich fans have been handed a first glimpse of Sadio Mane in the club’s colours via an image that has surfaced online.

Mane wore red throughout his memorable stint at Liverpool, but Philipp Kessler has released a picture showing him representing the Bayern badge for the first time.

The 30-year-old is understood to be undergoing a medical and signing his Bayern contract today before the club officially unveils him on Wednesday.

    Southampton to sign Bella-Kotchap

Southampton have agreed a deal worth around £8.6m (€10m) to sign highly-rated VfL Bochum centre-back Armel Bella-Kotchap.

According to The Athletic, Bella-Kotchap completed his medical overnight and will sign a four-year deal at St. Mary’s, with the option of a fifth.

Southampton have beaten Premier League and Bundesliga interest to secure the 20-year-old German’s services.

    United braced for Martial stay

Manchester United are prepared for the possibility of wantaway forward Anthony Martial staying beyond this summer due to a lack of transfer interest.

According to the MEN, Erik ten Hag has accepted he may have to find a way to fit Martial into his plans next season after initially sanctioning his sale.

The 26-year-old would like to leave for regular minutes ahead of the World Cup but has so far been the subject of no suitable offers.

    Newcastle close on Pope

Newcastle United are close to agreeing a deal worth £8m to £10m for England goalkeeper Nick Pope.

The Telegraph report Pope is desperate to join Newcastle and Burnley are willing to sell after their relegation from the Premier League.

The 30-year-old will challenge Martin Dubravka for a starting berth at St. James’ Park next season as he fights for a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.

However, the report adds Newcastle are struggling to make progress on deals for Sven Botman and Hugo Ekitike due to asking prices, wage demands and agent fees.

    Mane lands in Munich

Sadio Mane has landed in Germany ahead of completing his £31.5m move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich.

Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenburg has released footage of Mane exiting his private jet and entering a car.

The 30-year-old will undergo his medical and sign his contract on Tuesday before Bayern plan to officially unveil him on Wednesday.

    Palace to sign Johnstone

Crystal Palace will sign Sam Johnstone on a four-year deal once his West Bromwich Albion contract expires on July 1, Sky Sports report.

The 29-year-old had been expected to leave West Brom on a free transfer this summer and has secured a Premier League switch.

He was linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur but looks set to challenge for a starting role under Patrick Vieira at Selhurst Park.

    Christian Eriksen latest

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has revealed Christian Eriksen hasn’t yet decided on his future amid reports of mass interest in his services.

The Bees are joined by Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and several other clubs in Europe hoping to sign Eriksen on a free transfer this summer.

And Frank has claimed he is expecting a phone call from the 30-year-old playmaker about his decision, which he hopes will be made in two weeks.

He said: “I hope he will make a decision in two weeks. The agreement is that he will call me and tell me what he wants to do. He hasn’t decided yet.”

    Man Utd’s BIG summer budget

Manchester United will have around £200million to spend in the summer transfer window, according to The Guardian’s Jamie Jackson.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Jackson confirmed United will heavily back Erik ten Hag ahead of his first season as manager.

When asked if United were set to hand Ten Hag around £200m, he said: “Yeah, it probably is about right.”

The Red Devils are currently trying to wrap up deals for Frenkie de Jong, Christian Eriksen and Antony.

    Newcastle identify Ekitike alternative

Newcastle United could pursue a deal for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin if a prospective transfer for Reims’ Hugo Ekitike fails to materialise.

While Newcastle have already agreed a £30m fee for Ekitike, personal terms are yet to be agreed and his agent continues to offer his services around Europe.

And reports suggest the Magpies are willing to walk away and turn their focus towards Calvert-Lewin, who Everton value at around £50m.

Man City one of several clubs eyeing Nunes

Manchester City are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes this summer, along with ‘around 10’ other clubs.

According to Football Transfers, Nunes looks primed for a Premier League move, with Man City and Wolves showing the most concrete interest in his services.

PSG are also looking at the 23-year-old, but Pep Guardiola is a big suitor and a £38.6million (€45m) offer should be enough to seal a deal.

Nunes has a £51.4m (€60m) release clause in his current contract, should Sporting refuse to sell for a lower price.

    West Ham plot Broja pursuit

West Ham United are plotting a bid worth around £30million to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham have made the 20-year-old their top striker target after he caught the eye on loan at Southampton last season.

With Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia set for the Stamford Bridge exit door, new owner Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel will likely decide Broja’s future.

    Mane’s Bayern unveiling plans

Sadio Mane will undergo his medical today ahead of completing a £35million switch from Liverpool to Bayern Munich, Sky Germany report.

The Senegalese winger is also expected to sign his contract with Bayern today and confirm his Anfield exit after six years.

Current plans are for Mane to be officially unveiled by Bayern tomorrow ahead of starting his first pre-season campaign under Julian Nagelsmann.

    Man City’s clear Alvarez stance

Manchester City will keep Julian Alvarez in Pep Guardiola’s squad next season, rather than loaning him out after he arrives from River Plate.

TyC Sports report Alvarez is set to stay at Man City after the Premier League champions rejected FIVE loan approaches for his services.

The 22-year-old striker will compete to lead the line with Erling Haaland, who has also arrived this summer in a £51million deal.

Man Utd to complete Antony deal

Manchester United are closing in on their first signing under Erik ten Hag, with club officials set to wrap up a deal for Ajax winger Antony.

The Sun report United representatives are due in Amsterdam in Tuesday to push a £40million transfer over the line.

Ten Hag wants to reunite with the 22-year-old Brazilian after he registered 12 goals and 10 assists in 33 games last season.

And despite United’s focus on a deal for Frenkie de Jong, Antony could be the summer’s first arrival if negotiations go as planned in the Dutch capital.

Man Utd respond to criticism over De Jong transfer

Manchester United believe they would have been criticised regardless of when they signed Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, according to reports.

Some Red Devils fans have grown frustrated that United are yet to confirm a summer arrival. Erik ten Hag is busy rebuilding the club’s squad but has not signed a player.

United have long been linked with Barca ace De Jong. However, they feel that criticism would have come their way had they signed the Dutchman in the opening weeks of the window.

According to MEN, the Old Trafford outfit feel they would have been chastised for bulking to Barca’s demands. Instead, they have negotiated patiently and hope to secure a deal.

    Arsenal stance on signing Raphinha

Arsenal remain interested in a transfer for Leeds winger Raphinha but are yet to make significant developments in a potential move, Express Sport’s Ryan Taylor understands.

Raphinha is of interest to the Gunners but feel that Leeds are trying to drive up the Brazilian’s price by encouraging a bidding war.

The 25-year-old has previously been linked with Leeds and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are expecting to confirm Fabio Vieira as their first summer signing in the coming days. It comes after the Premier League prematurely published a profile for the Porto star on their website.

Man Utd struggling to sell three outcasts

Man Uted are struggling to offload Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial in a bid to create space for Erik ten Hag’s signings, according to reports.

Defenders Jones and Bailly have struggled for game time in recent seasons and interested clubs are not yet keen to test the waters due to a lack of competion, the MEN claim.

Martial’s failed to rebuild his reputation on loan at Sevilla in the second half of last season and is not attracting much interest, either.

The report also adds that Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams have been informed they can find new clubs.

Tottenham given renewed Bastoni hope after Inter declaration

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta has admitted that it is easier to sell a defender than a forward in the Serie A club’s pursuit of vital funds.

It could give Tottenham renewed hope in their quest to sign Alessandro Bastoni as Inter need to recoup cash for the second summer running.

Marotta said: “It’s certainly easier to replace a centre back than a striker. Probably we will be forced to sell someone in that position.”

Despite his agent insisting that Bastoni will be an Inter player next season, Sky Sports report that Spurs are ‘still pushing’ to sign the 23-year-old.

Antonio Conte has already completed three signings as Spurs emerge as the busiest club in the summer transfer window. Yves Bissouma (£30m), Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster (both free) have all arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

    Raheem Sterling changes transfer stance

Raheem Sterling has changed his stance on preferring a move abroad if he leaves Manchester City amid speculation about a blockbuster transfer to Chelsea, according to reports.

It had previously been rumoured that the forward wished to test himself in another country, with Real Madrid a possible destination.

However, the Mirror claim that Sterling has U-turned on that stance and is now tempted by a move to another Premier League club. He joined City from top-flight rivals Liverpool in 2014.

Man Utd had Erling Haaland ‘agreement’

Manchester United’s board apparently agreed that Erling Haaland would be the ‘ideal’ striker signing this summer.

Haaland has joined fierce rivals Manchester City after the Premier League champions activated his £51million release clause.

The 21-year-old has joined City from Borussia Dortmund but reportedly had strong interest from United.

MEN report that the Old Trafford hierarchy unanimously agreed that Haaland would be the best striker to lead Erik ten Hag’s revolution. It will likely be another one that got away for the Red Devils…

Arsenal ‘go all out’ for Asensio

Arsenal are ‘going all out’ for Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio, according to reports.

The Gunners are set to sign Fabio Vieira from Porto in the coming days. A profile page for the Portugal international appeared on the Premier League’s website on Monday.

But that will not prevent the North Londoners trying to sign Asensio, either. In fact, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that Arsenal are desperate to sign the Spaniard and are meeting with his representatives.

    Arsenal’s Martinez ‘fear’ emerges

Arsenal reportedly fear that Manchester United could hijack their pursuit of Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez.

The Gunners have earmarked the Argentine as a potential centre-back signing and are widely reported to have already made a bid.

Ajax turned down that offer and Arsenal are now concerned that Man Utd could enter the bidding, with Erik ten Hag a big fan of the 24-year-old.

According to the report, United wanted to sign team-mate Jurrien Timber but he wants to be sure of game time ahead of the World Cup. The Red Devils have therefore apparently entered the race for Martinez.

Erik ten Hag planning ‘overhaul’ of Man Utd playing style

Erik ten Hag plans to completely overhaul how Manchester United play, reports suggest.

That’s according to Goal, who claim that transfer targets Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen are seen as critical to Ten Hag’s approach for next season.

In a bold and sweeping change, Ten Hag wants to fill his squad with more technically gifted players. There will be a focus on ball possession.

Various reports have suggested that a deal for Barcelona midfielder De Jong is coming along nicely, although there remains distance over the fee.

United have competition from Tottenham and Brentford for free agent Eriksen.

Four more clubs keen on Jesus as Arsenal face competition

Arsenal face competition from four fresh clubs in the race to sign Gabriel Jesus, according to reports.

Jesus is yet to make a decision on his future amid strong reports of an exit from Man City.

The Gunners are widely believed to have held discussions with the Brazilian’s representatives. Mikel Arteta is desperate to sign a new forward ahead of next season.

But Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on signing Jesus.

The 25-year-old is expected to leave City this summer amid a lack of guarantees over game time. The Premier League champions have injected their attacking riches with the additions of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.

Man Utd ‘hopeful’ of De Jong deal

Manchester United remain hopeful over the signing of Frenkie de Jong – and think a new and improved bid this week could secure an agreement with Barcelona.

90min say United will offer a bid of £60m with add-ons that take the deal to £68.7m. Barca have been asking for a total package of around £73m.

The Red Devils are hopeful this offer will be enough for Barca to finally green-light a deal.

De Jong is Erik ten Hag’s undisputed No 1 target this summer and it’s said personal terms will not be a problem if the two clubs can agree a fee.

    Suarez backs Nunez

Luis Suarez believes Darwin Nunez ‘will let his talent do the talking’ as he discussed his fellow Uruguayan’s move to Liverpool.

He told the Daily Mirror of the 22-year-old, who he recommended Barcelona to sign a few years ago: “Nunez will write his own story at Liverpool. He is Uruguayan and he is a forward but that is where the comparisons stop – he is a special player and doesn’t need to be compared with anybody.

“He is going to a great club with one of the best coaches in the world, players he can learn off, and of course those special fans. I can be there to offer him advice about England and about the style of play – but I don’t think he will need it – he will let his talent do the talking.”

    Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez confidence

Liverpool are, per The Athletic, confident that new signing Darwin Nunez – signed for a package that could eventually reach a club-record £85million – will adjust quickly to their team and to life in the Premier League.

Nunez touched down on Merseyside last week and will replace Sadio Mane, who is set to join Bayern Munich, in the Reds’ front three. And it’s said that Jurgen Klopp and co. hope the Uruguayan centre-forward can hit the ground running.

In his first interview, Nunez named four players he cannot wait to play with at Anfield. He said: “There are some top, top players here with great qualities. There is [Roberto] Firmino, who’s a great player; and then [Diogo] Jota, who is another great striker; Luis Diaz, [Mohamed] Salah.

“To play alongside these ‘monsters’ is going to be something really special for me because as a kid you dream of going far and I dreamt of being able to play in Europe but I didn’t expect to get as far as a great club like Liverpool.”

    Awoniyi headed for Forest

Former Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi will become Nottingham Forest’s first summer signing, per reports. Awoniyi never made an appearance for the Reds due to work permit issues.

The Nigerian, 24, scored 15 Bundesliga goals for Union Berlin last season and 20 across all competitions. And he’s now headed to Nottingham in a £17.5million deal, which is a new club record, say the Telegraph.

Forest also hope to sign Mainz centre-back Moussa Niakhate and Liverpool full-back Neco Williams. Williams spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, who are eager to re-sign him having also come back up to the top division with Forest.

    Raphinha latest

Amid reports Raphinha is ‘very close’ to joining Arsenal, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has provided a wide-ranging update on the Brazilian’s situation.

It’s claimed Leeds may even demand as much as £64m for the winger, who scored 11 Premier League goals for them last season.

Barcelona have a verbal agreement over a contract but do not currently have the money to meet the Whites’ demands, giving Arsenal an opportunity to beat them to a deal.

    Wolves ‘still working on’ Nunes

Express Sport’s Ryan Taylor has provided the latest on Wolves’ bid to sign Sporting midfielder Matheus Nunes, and also Fulham’s pursuit of his team-mate Joao Palhinha.

Wolves had also been linked with £15m Palhinha but have prioritised a more expensive deal for Nunes, who may cost nearer £40m.

    Liverpool respond to Salah claims

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool insiders they have no expectation regarding Mohamed Salah’s future one way or the other.

That follows reports that the Reds are already resigned to losing the Egyptian winger on a free transfer next summer.

Salah is into the final 12 months of his contract as of next month but whether he stays on or moves elsewhere is uncertain still for now.

    Rudiger unveiled at Real Madrid

Former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is currently being unveiled as Real Madrid’s latest signing.

The German joins on a free and will wear the No 22 shirt at the Bernabeu. He’s claimed he rejected Barcelona to join Los Blancos.

He explained: “Other people have contacted me, but I was convinced of what I wanted. There was an offer from Barcelona but I told my agent it’s Real Madrid or nothing.

“[Carlo] Ancelotti told me that he wanted me at Real Madrid and that he trusted me and that he would depend on me. That’s enough for me.”

    Arsenal signing ‘leaked’

Arsenal’s signing of Fabio Vieira may have accidentally been confirmed early by the Premier League.

A profile page has emerged for the Portuguese midfielder on the official website earlier today.

It’s thought Vieira could be unveiled as a new Arsenal player today.

    Chelsea want Sterling AND Dembele

Chelsea have reportedly decided they want to sign both Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele this summer, rather than bringing in Sterling as an alternative.

According to, Chelsea want to take advantage of Sterling’s contract situation at Manchester City and will target him and Dembele. They’ve already had a bid of £21million upfront rejected for Sterling.

The England forward has just one year remaining on his deal in the north west and could jump at the chance to move away from the Etihad after falling down the pecking order last season.

Dembele is going on a free with his Barcelona contract shortly set to expire. The Frenchman played under Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund earlier in his career.

    Granovskaia leaves Chelsea

News coming out of Chelsea. Chairman Bruce Buck stepped down earlier today after 19 years in the role.

And now, influential director Marina Granovskaia is reportedly headed for the exit door too.

The Russian-Canadian had been the chief assistant to previous owner Roman Abramovich before Todd Boehly took over and had been on the club’s board since June 2013.

    Eriksen to Man Utd twist

There’s been a fresh twist in the Christian Eriksen saga. It looked as though he might want to stay in London, either staying at Brentford or rejoining Tottenham.

It then emerged that the financial terms offered to the 30-year-old by Manchester United were ‘acceptable’ to the player.

And in a further boost to United, say Spurs have not yet followed up their interest in the Danish playmaker. Spurs have been in contact previously but not for the last few weeks.

Despite suggestions Eriksen would be eager to stay in London, the report argues that is no longer necessarily the case – meaning a move to United could very much be on.

Everton, Newcastle, Leicester, West Ham, Ajax and unnamed La Liga side are all said to have made contact with the No 10.

    West Ham confirm Aguerd

As expected, West Ham have officially confirmed Nayef Aguerd is their player.

    Raphinha to Arsenal close

Arsenal are ‘very close’ to completing a deal for Leeds United winger Raphinha and look set to beat Barcelona and Tottenham to his signature.

So say Goal Spain, who claim the Brazilian is even hoping for the deal to be agreed this week.

Raphinha has an offer on the table from Arsenal and wants to make the move despite interest from Barca.

It’s claimed unless anything changes, Raphinha should be an Arsenal player later this week because he does not want to wait for Barca to sort their finances out.

The Gunners will need to pay around £47m to sign the attacker.

    Man Utd readying Martinez bid

Manchester United are ready to rival Arsenal for Lisandro Martinez, the Ajax defender, it has been reported.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf say Arsenal informed Ajax they are willing to offer around £25m for the Argentine’s signature.

But United are said to be ‘preparing an offer’ to rival the Gunners but it is unclear what their proposal comprises of.

The Red Devils will have to ‘dig much deeper’ than Arsenal in order to sign Martinez however, with only a deal that is too good to refuse to be enough to secure an agreement.

Arsenal and Spurs expect Chelsea swoop

Chelsea are in pole position to pip Arsenal and Tottenham to the signing of Everton striker Richarlison, according a new report.

The London trio are all avid admirers of the Brazilian, who could leave Goodison Park for the right price this summer.

But it’s Chelsea who are expected to snap up Richarlison, according to the Independent.

The Athletic say he will cost significantly more than the £50million price tag that has been bandied about and Everton have not yet received any bids for the forward.

    Liverpool ‘impressed’ by Rafa Silva

Liverpool scouts were impressed by Benfica winger Rafa Silva but the Reds are unlikely to make a move to sign him.

That’s according to The Athletic following Darwin Nunez’s arrival from the Portuguese club.

Portugal international Silva ended last season on 12 goals and 18 assists in 45 games but he turned 29 in May, and so no bids are expected for the player from Liverpool.

    Romelu Lukaku to Inter done

Romelu Lukaku is definitely headed back to Inter Milan, per CBS Sports Golazo. It’s claimed Chelsea will receive a loan fee of around £8.5m plus add-ons.

The Blues had looked to do a swap deal for the Belgian but were unsuccessful, but a move is now close to being finalised.

Chelsea are said to see value in a one-year loan deal with Todd Boehly keen to bring an end to the saga, it is said.

Man Utd ‘determined’ over De Jong

Manchester United are determined for their pursuit of Frenkie de Jong to not be dragged out any longer, it has been claimed.

The Barcelona midfielder is Erik ten Hag’s priority transfer target at Old Trafford and United hope to make some progress towards a deal in the next week.

Forbes journalist Sam Pilger wrote on Twitter, he said: “Talks are ongoing and there is hope of a breakthrough this week.

“United are determined not to drag this out any more. Both clubs want to do business and the player wants to come.

“It is now about the fee about constructing a deal where everyone feels they have triumphed.”

    Dean Henderson exit close

Nottingham Forest are close to the season-long loan signing of Manchester United’s Dean Henderson.

Henderson struggled for game time at Old Trafford last season and is very much the No 2 to David de Gea.

And so he will head out to Premier League new boys Forest for the season given they look set to lose playoff hero Brice Samba this summer.

Personal terms are already agreed with Henderson, says Fabrizio Romano, as Forest and United thrash out the final parts of a deal.

    West Ham announcement today

West Ham will announce Nayef Aguerd as their latest addition today. The defender signs a long-term contract to become the Hammers’ first summer signing.

If all add-ons are paid, the Moroccan who joins from Rennes will eventually cost the London outfit around £30million.

    Vieira announcement ‘imminent’

Arsenal are poised to announce Fabio Vieira as their first major signing of the summer window.

Fabrizio Romano insists via his CaughtOffside column that an official unveiling is ‘imminent’.

Vieira joins the Gunners for £30m plus £4m in add-ons.

    Man Utd’s £55m bid

Manchester United have tabled a big £55million bid for Porto star Evanilson, according to reports.

United have bid an initial £51m for forward Evanilson – as well as offering another £4m in add-ons.

It’s claimed, however, that the Portuguese side have turned down their offer as they look to keep hold of the 22-year-old.

    Man City reject bids

Manchester City are turning down all approaches to take Julian Alvarez on loan with the Argentine to spend his first season in England at the Etihad.

The exciting Argentine striker arrives from River Plate and will be the back-up to another new signing in Erling Haaland.

But City are ready to offload Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to improve Alvarez’s chances of minutes.
