What channel is Brighton v Man Utd? Live stream and TV details

Man Utd were handed a dismal defeat by Crystal Palace on Saturday as the south London side secured a 3-1 win. The loss came as a major blow to United, who also lost their first match of the season 1-0 away to Crystal Palace. The Reds have signed just one player this summer and it’s clear the club has a lot more to do on the transfer front.

Left-back Luke Shaw said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to step up transfer activity if the club is to make an impact this season.

He said: “We have a very good group, but personally I think we need more players to strengthen the squad.

“It can give us a boost. When you look around at how other teams are strengthening their teams, then we must also do it to keep up with the others.”

Man Utd have so far only secured £Holland international Donny van de Beek from Ajax in a deal worth £25 million.

After Saturday’s defeat, Solskjaer said: “You can see we are short and Palace deserved the points.

“They were sharper than us in challenges, tackles. We had a long season last season and we didn’t finish until August 16 and we have not had enough preparation time to be sharper.”

“Then again, we’re always, always looking to improve if there’s something out there that’s available to the right price. We always want to strengthen but I think we can all look ourselves in the mirror today instead.”

Brighton , meanwhile, are believed to be targeting 22-year-old Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo, who has voiced his desire to leave the Etihad Stadium.

While Seagulls boss Graham Potter has sought to hold on to defender Bernardo, who’s currently being eyed up by West From and West Ham, praising him for his professionalism in recent weeks.
