Ana Maria Markovic has revealed that she has been bombarded by unsolicited X-rated photos and also messages from fake managers on social media since being dubbed the world's 'most beautiful' footballer.
The Grasshopper and Croatia forward hit the headlines earlier this month after posting a string of eye-catching bikini snaps alongside her football career at both domestic and international level on Instagram, where she has 627,000 followers.
The 22-year-old has now given an in-depth interview about her new-found fame and what that has brought, having received both praises as well as vulgar messages and pranksters trying to impact her fledgling career.
Speaking to 20min, she said when asked what sort of messages she has received since being dubbed the world's 'most beautiful' footballer: "A lot of people wrote to me pretending to be managers, and I know exactly what they want from me.
"They've never seen me play football and only look at the outside. I find that a great pity. I think such people should find out more beforehand and see what I can do in terms of football.
"Many have also made me feel like I'm pretty and that just because of that you could make something out of me on social media and that they want to make money with it.

Markovic was also asked if she had ever received an unsolicited x-rated photo, which she revealed was indeed the case and mentioned how she reacts.
She said: "There are a few pictures like that, it's really ugly. I don't know why a person does something like that, but I just make fun of it with my colleagues.
"Sometimes funny messages come from people who write that they want to serve me and, for example, want to clean my soccer shoes after training."
During the interview, Markovic also named Cristiano Ronaldo as her favourite footballer due to his discipline, as well as Luka Modric and Ramona Bachmann as role models.
Having insisted that she would rather play for Chelsea than receive a modelling contract, Markovic expressed how her career comes first.
Although she likes being called the most beautiful footballer in the world, Markovic isn't happy when being called sexy out of respect for her family.
