Potters Corner held on bravely to win the 2020 Virtual Grand National for his Welsh connections.
The ten-year-old was given a power-packed ride by jockey Jack Tudor to deny the finishing Walk In The Mill.
Both the winner and runner-up started at double figure prices, with Potters Corner sent off at 18/1.
Trained by Christian Williams, the chaser had won the Welsh National over Christmas and came into Aintree a fresh horse.
Attempting his third win in the race back-to-back, this time in virtual form, favourite Tiger Roll faded in the closing stages to finish fourth under top weight.
He had led the field at the 26th fence, but had been overtaken by 66/1 shot Aso when that rival fell when in the lead late on.
In an incident-packed renewal, many horses failed to complete the virtual course, including one of the leading fancies Definitly Red.
Any Second Now (10/1) finished third and Burrows Saint (12/1) was fifth for each-way backers.
This year's Grand National was unfortunately cancelled as a result of the coronavirus crisis, but punters were still able to enjoy a dramatic race from the comfort of their sofas.
