Herald Sun form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Tuesday’s card on the Pakenham Synthetic track.
VITESSE BREEZE (Race 1 No. 7 – $3.90)
Vitesse Breeze powered home when narrowly beaten on this track last time and the step to 1600m looks right for him now. Watch for him late.
HE’S THE ULTIMATE (Race 2 No. 10 – $2.50)
He’s The Ultimate ran second to the impressive Najmaty first-up last time in. That form is more than good enough to get him home in a Pakenham Synthetic maiden.
RISING SPHERE (Race 5 No. 3 – $3.80)
Rising Sphere went too quickly in front before fading here last time but dropping back to the 1000m and settling better in front will make him harder to run down.
FROSTIN’ (Race 8 No. 8 – $9.50)
Frostin’ is over the odds at his current quote. He was the same price when jumping awkwardly and not disgraced in a much harder race first-up. Expecting him to improve sharply.

TAN TAT BEAU (Race 3 No. 6 – $14)
Tan Tat Beau is in a race featuring a few tips but he’s a great each-way chance at good odds. The Peter Moody-trained three-year-old easily won a jumpout on this track recently and will be hard to beat.
Daniel Stackhouse is getting going again after a two month break and can build momentum with a winner or two at Pakenham. RUMBLEINTHEJUNGLE (Race 1 No. 6 – $2.60), FINCH ‘N’ CHIPS (Race 2 No.5 – $18), TOBAYSURE (Race 3 No. 7 – $7).
