Dreamforce continues to race at the top of his game as a rising nine-year-old and trainer John Thompson is hoping his warhorse can deliver again in Saturday’s Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) at Randwick.
The Fastnet Rock gelding is already a Group 1 winner and has been given a month to prepare for his latest major tilt after last finishing a close runner up to Think It Over in the George Ryder Stakes in March.

Dreamforce had claimed his maiden Group 1 by winning the George Ryder last year before finishing 13th in the All Aged Stakes with a similar preparation, a month between runs.
But Thompson believes his tough campaigner is ready to produce a better result in 2021.
“He is going super,” Thompson said.
“He has had a nice little freshen up at the Farm after his George Ryder run which is what we wanted going back to the 1400m.
“I couldn’t be happier with him.
“He is racing at the top of his game, for an older horse he is well in himself.
“He is fit and well and I am looking forward to it.”
Dreamforce has been a model of consistency through his career, winning 13 times with 12 placings from his 38 starts and has plenty of racing left in him.
The All Aged Stakes will be just his third run this autumn and Thompson says that holds the key to him holding his form in the twilight of his career.
“Throughout a long career he hasn’t had too many runs and he’s still at the top of his game because of it,” Thompson said.
“He has been looked after, only has four runs a prep and has good spells.
“The owner has been very patient and it’s credit to them for being that way.”

Nash Rawiller has been the regular jockey for Dreamforce in recent years but has been serving suspensions for the bulk of the April.
It means James McDonald will continue his association with Dreamforce after partnering him in the George Ryder Stakes.
“James McDonald sticks which is always a very positive sign and I am rapt to have him on,” Thompson said.
A list of 22 horses have nominated for Saturday’s $600,000 All Aged Stakes with the final field to be declared on Wednesday.
