Nick Kyrgios is constantly testing the boundaries of what we think is possible on a tennis court and it appears the next generation is following suit.
From the obscure setting of the American college circuit, we bring you Bora Sengul — a young Turkish up-and-comer who appears to value flashiness over everything.
The 19-year-old is playing for Penn State University after moving to America from Europe and has been an instant hit.
Last week he showed off his innovative approach by producing two insane trick shots that left his opponent scratching his head.

First, after not quite nailing a drop shot, Sengul played a tweener volley from the back corner of the court that was a stone-cold winner.
His opponent couldn’t believe it, first dropping his racket and then his hat before walking off the court with his head in his hands.
But Sengul wasn’t done yet. His next trick was a no-look backhand smash that rocketed off his racket for a crosscourt winner.

So far Sengul’s experience on the world stage has only included a few appearances at tournaments in his homeland but hopefully we see more of him soon.
