Hi everyone, and welcome back , to the GoodLuckMate channel.  Today, we'll talk about all things . Baccarat. We covered everything vital   to the topic – from how to play  Baccarat and card values to the   top side bets you can place as well . as the game's most popular variants.  Does all of this sound interesting?  If so, keep watching to learn more! Introduction to Baccarat Baccarat is a simple card game that has   captured people's imaginations for centuries. It's  thought to have originated in Italy in the 15th   century and has evolved into the popular game . that we know today. In Baccarat, the Player's   hand is opposing the Banker's hand, and you're  betting on a winner or a tie for each game round.  Baccarat can be played with either six  or eight decks of cards and is typically   played with a small number of players , who each have their own betting area.  Let's see how the different aspects of the . game work in the sections coming up next!  Playing A Hand. When you're placing bets   before your Baccarat round, you have three main  options: betting on the Player's hand to win,   the Banker's, or a Tie between the two.. Two cards are dealt to the Player and the Banker   each. Now, there are instances where a third card . will be dealt. There can be several variations and   point discrepancies between the Banker and the  Player for the third card rule to be triggered.  However, this is usually simplified in online  play. If neither side manages to get a score   of eight or nine from their two cards, then the . dealer will deal a third card to both. For live   play, however, these rules are slightly more . complex and favor the Banker ever so slightly.   In this case, the Banker will either draw , or stand depending on the Player's score.  Baccarat Card Values. Tens and Face cards count   as zero for scoring purposes, whereas all other . numbered cards provide a score equal to their   number. Aces count as a score of one. The scores . of each hand are added up to give the total score,   which determines the winner of the round.. In the case that a total score is a double-digit   number, only the last digit will be counted. , So, a score of 11 will count as one, and a   score of 19 will count as nine. A score of nine . is what you want from whichever side you bet on,   as the side with a score closest to nine wins.. Again, don't forget that In Baccarat,   a hand's total value can only be one digit. . So only the digit furthest to the right in   the number combination will count. This means , a combination of 8 and 9, which equals 17,   gives you a hand worth 7 points. The 1 is . removed, and only the 7 counts toward the   hand's value. We're repeating it as this seems , to be the most confusing part to new players.  Baccarat Payouts and House Edge. Another important area of Baccarat   that you'll need to be aware of is . the payout table associated with it.  Firstly, any winning bets on the Player pay  out at a rate of 1 to 1, meaning you will   double your stake. Winning bets on the Banker,  however, will pay out at a rate of 19 to 20.   This is due to the Banker's 5% commission . from bets that the house will win. Lastly,   an 8 to 1 payout is awarded for winning Tie bets.. The reason for this is simple – the Banker is   statistically likely to win just over 50% of . rounds. In fact, while the Player's house edge   stands at 1.24%, the Banker's edge comes  on top at 1.06%, and for those wondering,   the Tie bet stands at a house edge of 14.36%. These percentages mean that you can expect   to lose 1.24% of units gambled for every . 100 units bet when betting on the Player.  The Banker's Decisions. The Banker's edge is caused by coming   second in combination with the three-card rule.  As in a live play, the side of the Player will   always go first, and the drawing of a third card ,

will result in the Banker standing or drawing.   That, however, depends on the following  circumstances you can see on your screen:  Hit for a third card if the player’s score is  zero, one, or two, regardless of the third card.  Hit on a three, should the , player score other than eight.  Hit on a four, should the player . score between two and seven.  Hit on a five, should the player , score between four and seven.  Hit on a six, should the Player  score either six or seven.  The Banker will always stand on . a score of seven, eight, or nine.  This is where the slight edge , of the Banker comes from,   as their play will be entirely dependent , on the Player's score. This does lead to   more favorable outcomes, if only by the , slightest amount over many rounds played.  You don't need to remember these particular , values for when a Banker hits or stands for   that third card in online play. However, , it's good to know why that 5% commission is   implemented and why you won't be receiving , a 1-to-1 return on betting on the Banker. Baccarat Side Bets, Did you know that there   are also side bets you can make in addition , to betting on the main outcome? These bets   can give you extra chances to win big, yet they . typically have unfavorable odds for the players   who wager them. Still, they surely increase the . adrenaline levels and are adored by many players!  Here are some of the most popular  side bets you can make in Baccarat:  The "Player Pair" bet is when you bet , that the first two cards dealt to the   Player will be a pair. This bet pays  out at 11 to 1 if the guess is accurate.  The "Royal Match" bet entails that either the . Player or Banker will get a King and Queen in   their opening hand. The payout for this baccarat , side bet is fantastic 75 to 1, and this option is   typically available in London casinos only., The "Banker Pair" bet is when you bet that   the first two cards dealt to the , Banker will be a pair. This bet   pays out at 11 to 1 if the Banker gets any pair. The "Bellagio Match" requires either the Player or   Banker to be dealt a hand containing three cards . of the same rank. The player payout is usually 75   to 1, while the Banker's is 68 to 1. Naturally,  it's impossible to get the Bellagio Match if   the game concludes with two-card hands only., The "Perfect Pair" bet is when you bet that   the first two cards dealt to either the Player or  Banker will be of the same rank and suit. This bet   pays out at 25 to 1 if it is successful.. With the "Same Suit Opening" side-bet,   players wager that either the Banker or . the Player's opening hand will be two   cards of the same suit. The Player's payout . is 2.87 to 1, and the Banker's is 2.86 to 1.   Different Variants of Baccarat. There are several variants of this   exciting card game. Each variant has its own  set of rules and offers a different experience   to players. So, without further ado, let's . dive into the different variants of Baccarat.  No Commission Baccarat No Commission Baccarat is a variant of   the game that requires no extra fees for placing , a bet on the Banker. So, players won't need   to cover the standard 5% commission we already . explained earlier in this video. Instead, winning   Banker bets will pay out at a rate of 1 to 1.. This is obviously great but does come at a cost.   Typically, should the Banker win on a six, only . a payout of 0.5 to 1 is awarded. This result has   a 0.054% chance of occurring, which isn't too . bad by itself. Different tables can change up   the payouts of other results as well, though.  So, be sure to double-check the rules before   committing any funds. Mini Baccarat  Mini Baccarat is often played on a smaller table. ,

Hence, the bets you place are smaller too. The   minimum and maximum bets in Mini Baccarat are  usually targeted more towards low rollers. At   many casinos, the "real" baccarat tables can have . minimum bets starting as high as several thousand   euros, so if this is a bit more than you want . to bet, Mini Baccarat could be the game for you.   Other than the betting limits, the only real , difference for players is that in Mini Baccarat,   players aren't allowed to pick up the cards., Chemin de Fer Chemin de Fer is a baccarat game with no house since both the Player and the Banker's hands are , played by actual players. For every game round,   one Player is the Banker, and all other players  are the Player. The Player is only one hand.   One of the players represents all players, and , this person is actually playing the hand. The   Banker designation goes counter-clockwise around , the table, while the representative Player is   determined by whoever makes the biggest bet. Baccarat Banque  Baccarat Banque is another version of  Baccarat that's closely related to Chemin   de Fer Baccarat. Yet, two differences , set these variants apart. First,   the Banker will either be the first player at . the table or the player with the highest bet,   depending on the house rules. , Second, there are two Player hands.   The total number of players, not including the  Banker, is 10. In addition, it's also possible   to bet behind if the 10 players at the table  cannot, or will not, match the Banker's bet.,   Land-based Baccarat vs Online . RNG Baccarat vs Live Baccarat  Land-based Baccarat is the traditional way to , play the game. It can be found in casinos all   around the world and usually offers the best . odds for players. It includes real action,   the game is played with real cards, and , everything happens right in front of your eyes.  Online RNG baccarat, on the other hand, is a , newer way to play the game. It can be played   from the comfort of your own home, and there , are always plenty of tables available. However,   the odds aren't as good as land-based  Baccarat, and you might find the game a bit   too fast-paced. These games offer realistic  audiovisuals, yet Random Number Generators   generate the outcomes in the background., Live baccarat is the newest way to play the   game. It is played in real-time with a real dealer  and offers the best of both worlds – the great   odds of land-based Baccarat and the convenience . of playing online. At live baccarat tables,   the dealer uses real cards, and typically  no random number generators are involved.   All the action is streamed in real time , through multiple high-definition cameras.  So, which is the best way to play Baccarat? It  really depends on your personal preferences. If   you want the best odds, go for land-based , Baccarat. If you want convenience,   go for online RNG baccarat. If you want the  best of both worlds, go for live Baccarat.  Whichever way you choose to play, the  most important thing is to enjoy yourself! Bottom Line. Baccarat is a staple card   game that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. , The rules are simple to understand but offer a   complex playing field that can be rewarding for . those who take the time to learn baccarat and all   the ins and outs of the game. Whether you prefer , to play at a brick-and-mortar casino, online,   or with a live dealer, there's something for  everyone when it comes to this classic card game.  If you enjoyed this video, stay tuned for  more industry-related news, casino reviews,   as well as tips and tricks.
