Three days five betting shops and one question hey can I beat the bookies for charity I'm gonna start with a hundred pound my own . money and place cash bets inside but maker shops to conceal my identity is Cash , really king or will I get recognized and thrown out there's only one way to , find out starting from the beginning the objective of this ambitious , challenge is to make as much money as possible in just three days and . then donate it to a more worthy cause because the house doesn't always win and I'm gonna . do my best to prove it my first stop is to see my mate William Hill although I faced three major , problems with this betting challenge attempt one find a profitable betting opportunities where I . have an unfair advantage two getting the bets on without drawing attention to myself and three , actually getting paid out by The Bookies if I do win it may surprise some of you but they're . problems that all professional gamblers struggle with in the modern world oh and as if that , wasn't hard enough I need to record that whole experience without getting noticed by the shop . staff fortunately I've picked up these sneaky spy glasses on Amazon there's a tiny camera just here on the bridge of the nose so they'll be recording everything I do without getting detected hopefully I'll explain the strategy I'm using and how we solve the three issues I just mentioned as the video progresses so get ready now day one was a little slow a hundred pound . isn't a huge bankroll to start with even if you have a decent advantage over the house maybe I . was being over cautious but typically I staked between 10 and 50 pounds per bet staking in . line with the size of my advantage is very important but I didn't want to push too hard and blow the bank before it even got going I'll explain my betting strategy in a second but I visited two different shops sat around for hours in each of them and only place around 15 to 16 bets in total fortunately the first two were winners but much of the afternoon was spent filling out better slips before finding out that the price had changed by the time I reached the counter I don't know if I missed it gone is it getting the right price was crucial if I was going to pull this off so that meant plenty of betting slips when in the bin it was a frustrating start but the strategy made 257 pound profit on the first day two was different very different so , hopefully today's a better result I'm gonna hit a few different shops that are quite close to each other it's not very sunny look a bit of a tit in these glasses so hopefully it doesn't raise any extra suspicion so to explain the strategy in simplistic terms I'm deliberately targeting , the bookmakers shops where I know specific greyhound racing events are on I don't have any inside information because it's not required I'm not interested in historical performances form or . even the selection's name bookies like to get the punters focusing on these things as it deflects . attention away from what's really important price what I'm doing here is purely a mathematical game of value versus probability I can't guarantee I picked the right dog every time but I don't need , to I just need to make sure that I get a bigger price than the bet is truly worth by doing this . over a period of time I'll win more than I lose making a profit in the process the bigger the . value margin the quicker and bigger I'll win as a quick illustration if a bet is truly worth a price

of two to one it's got a 33.3 chance of winning which means on average the winner will be picked one out of three times and lose two out of three times the net result being neither profit nor . a loss because the best payout is at two to one however if we get a price of three to one when the , BET was truly worth two to one there would still be a chance of 33.3 chance of the BET winning but on the occasion the bet does win we get paid at a price of three to one leaving us in an overall , profit long term now these value margins can happen on any bet so it isn't the case of strictly picking large Outsiders or short price favorites the point is the margin of value is the most . important part here so why do we pick Greyhound around stand by everybody good luck with your face the Show's first one of the inside oh yes yes because they're a big part of solving that , first problem I mentioned earlier compared to other better notes they move fast there are lots of questionable gambles late on and they provide the biggest value margins for making money . plus it's easier to spot a gamble for them on the exchange when I see that happen I'll . stake bigger it's amazing how many times a dog wins after a substantial flurry of money hits the betting Exchange Market in the final minute it's quite easy to catch incorrect prices , if you know where is most likely to happen in advance although I must admit it's not what it used to be either unlike football and horse racing they're a soft target and there's plenty . of races with more than 100 on Sundays there's never long to wait before the next opportunity I . identified opportunities by tactfully looking at the betting exchange odds on my phone while sat in the betting shops when the book is odds were priced larger than the betting Exchange close to , the start of the race I quickly fill out the slip and place the catch bit to remain anonymous doing this isn't illegal and it doesn't take a rocket science book is absolutely hate it because , they know that they'll lose and I'll win because probability is stacked in the player's favor when doing this they could change their price and make them more accurate but they'd rather just restrict winners and refuse their bets instead which is where problem number two comes in getting the bets on undetected because the bookies are always watching Loyalty . cards online apps CCTV which bank cards you used to pay are just a few of the ways that they do it they monitor it all and much more now there are more opportunities on the second day and results just kept falling in my favor which was fortunate but it didn't take long before the shop staff . started asking if I was local mentioning that they hadn't seen me before and asking if I had them online account it amazes me that they had no interest in who the degenerates filling up . the cash machines were or where they were from or even in me when I was sat in the shop for hours at a time betting race after race only when I was repeatedly collecting Fair sums from . the counter did they start to pay attention so much for caring about gambling harm they didn't ask me to leave although I could tell it was only going to be a matter of time once I started to get , those vibes I moved on to the next bookie it was a decent afternoon on day two although I did make . a mess of recording everything with the Stevie Wonder glasses they run on this little battery . inside the frame so hours and hours of recorded must have got a bit too much for them it happened . a couple of times throughout the challenge now the second day saw me placing a lot more bets than

the previous days there were plenty of losers although a couple of sizable wins really brought , up the average with the day two's results coming in at 467 pounds 70 profit taking the running . total to 724 pounds 70 so far with Lady Luck on my side I was ready to go up a gear on day three , the plan from the outset was to bet bolder and go harder on the last day having more cash to play with meant the betting strategy could cope with some variance in results although I was aware , that staking bigger would bring a new problem you see Finding value opportunities and keeping a low profile is one thing but getting paid for larger Amounts is now a nightmare if the bookies decide that they want to do an affordability or money laundering check it shouldn't happen it's . abuse of Regulation but it's the bookie's new favorite trick to start asking for your bank , statements and sensitive financial data after you've had a sizable win if you don't comply they . do everything they can to hold on to your money I didn't want this to happen to me so I tried to . avoid letting the stakes get too big placing larger bits means bigger profits or potentially . bigger losses so it's crucial that I focus on the best opportunities today and make sure I leave out , anything that I'm unsure about after a bumpy start I was going well come mid-afternoon I was having . the best day so far but then disaster struck a string of losers knocked me back despite being Great Value odds again I felt it was drawing attention to me so I moved down the road . to Paddy Power now with their odds were by far the worst out of the lot which made finding value . frustrating to say the least being sat around in a dreary betting shop wasn't all that exciting , either I can't say I'd recommend it I persevered and then the Big Value opportunity presented . itself The Exchange price was falling Like a Knife thousands of pounds were going down on a , four to one shot in the final minute of betting the betting shop odds hadn't changed yet either this was the biggest opportunity of the day and having seen many bet in exchange markets like it , in the past I knew this was definitely an ongoing gamble usually a race like this would only attract half of the bet in volume so I went for it with my maximum stake hot in The Pursuit Of Glory clear opportunities like this one aren't that frequent although when they do happen it's not that unusual , to see the dog fall out the traps last get a terrible start and then win by several lengths , although this time around it wasn't to be it lost I can't lie it was disappointing to finish on such a downer after a roller coaster day but I decided to call it quits there after counting , the cash back at home I'd returned with a 327 pounds 75 Pence profit on the day taking the . grand total to 1052.45 now I believe that we can all choose to play our best game and make , plus EV decisions but we can't always choose the hand that we're dealt in life so here I am donating all of the winnings to what I would consider to be one of the most . worthy causes save the children here's the receipt the strategy I used within this video is explained thoroughly in this video here listed in the end screen if you enjoyed , this video please consider contributing to the charity fundraiser linked beside this video thanks for watching I'll see you next time.
