Have before you go on stage. Should we do our little... - Oh my God, let's do it! Ready? - One, two, three, four,, five, six, seven, eight. - Kiss, kiss, knee, knee. - Oh, we weren't here for that. - Oh, my gosh. - Hi, guys. - Wow.. - Hello. - Come on in. - I actually don't recognize, any of these costumes. - That one's, gorgeous. Oh my gosh. I don't remember us wearing--, - I didn't wear any of those. - Wait, Chloe, was that yours? That blue one? - Oh yeah, it was.. - They look pretty. - Who can I tell, ask someone to go out there and fix something, on Kendall's dress? - I wanna fix something, on Brooke's too. - You, walk, strut. out there and do it. - Do it, yeah. Do it!. - Come on. Let's go. - Yeah. - Go fix it. - Your moms aren't happy.. - Why? - I don't know. They. want to come in here. What is happening? - I just wanted it to, be in the spotlight. - Oh, she is strutting her stuff. - We have to fix your dress.. - Oh, she wants to fix my boobs. - But it made it look like, it was funny. Trust me. - Like, I trust you. You just don't have to, be so dramatic about it. Once a dance mom,. always a dance mom. - Okay. Alright. You guys look gorgeous. - Let's talk about, the elephant in the room. There's some cast members that. chose not to show up today. - I think everyone knows who's not here. Maybe they just don't think they needed this. - Some people might, still be processing. And it's hard to talk about some of the stuff that we went through. - They like closed the book and they don't wanna open. - Yeah, they don't wanna open it back up. - And backtrack. It's an, emotional thing, I feel like. - They chose not to be here. - Well, that. was their choice, 100%. - At the end of the day, they've done several interviews that say they don't even want. this a part of their life. - But here's the thing, they're not here. So why are they still making, trying to make. headlines with it? Don't talk about Dance Moms if you don't wanna be a part of it. - Right.. - Why are you talking about it if you don't wanna be a part of it? That's what I'm like... Why? Don't. - It's kind of sad to see like, 'cause I look at, especially, your kids being here, like just going off of, how you exited the show and for you to be, able to come here and be like, "Look, I still care about this," is really cool to see. And it's like you care about your past. This is like them not being here is kinda like, let. me erase my past. Pretend it never happened. Shove it down the drain, when it's like, that's,
why you are who you are. - It was literally the stepping, stone into who we are today. We would not be here, without Dance Moms. - Yeah.. - Yeah. - There hasn't. been a lot of contact or a lot of hanging out. in the past few years. All of a sudden, last night, we have, off camera, a big, reunion at Maddie's house. - It was a surprise party for my birthday, so. - Yeah. You don't think there's any other ulterior motives of having you guys, all over there the night before a reunion where they're not gonna be here to speak or to, defend themselves? - No, we didn't even really address. - I mean, I feel like it's weird. We've never been invited like that. - Was everyone here at Maddie's party last night? - Here?. - Yes. - Everyone. in this building. - No., - No. - Just us. - Not all of us. - I'm gonna call Christi. - I wasn't invited by Melissa,, 'cause Melissa set this up, to make sure that none of us said anything bad about them at this reunion. - Do you hear Christi? - Melissa has been orchestrating and playing everyone as. long as I've known her. - Right. - Yep., - Yeah. - That means a lot to. hear from you, Christi! - You should be here. - For somebody who, doesn't like drama or doesn't want conflict, she sure orchestrates, a lot of it. And then she hides behind whoever. - I just know that if, it was me and JoJo, we'd invite everybody to everything. Anyways, I'm not that upset. - So, Chloe. - Yeah. - You almost, didn't show up today. - What? - I was really, hesitant to come back and talk about the. rivalry Abby created between Maddie and me. I was so sick of like being put in this box that I've been put in since I was little. And then I realized that it's gonna scare me either way, whether I'm part of it, or whether I'm not. So it's time to come back. and set the record straight. - Let's take a look. - This is my daughter, Chloe, who is nine. - Yes, I am. This is Petite Miss, 1st runner up, 2010. And Maddie won, I was her... - Runner up. - Runner up. - Do you think you'll ever make it to the top of the pyramid? We can hope, right?. - Yeah. - In the history of the. Abby Lee Dance Company, there has always been. more than one top dancer. And now there's Maddie and, Chloe, and they're amazing, because they have each other to compete with. - All you do is. set her up to fail. - She's holding two, national titles! - You went backstage before something and said, "Be like Maddie!" Who does that to a kid? Deny it all you want,
deny it all you want. - Why wouldn't you wanna be like Maddie? I wanna be like Maddie. Two solos will be competing,. Maddie and Chloe. - I guess she's setting us up for another Maddie, Chloe Showdown. - Wait, play yours. - Wait, what happened?, - The same. - It is the same? So Chloe and Maddie are, given the exact same music, the exact same choreography, the exact same costume, because I always say, let's, even the playing field and see where the chips fall. - Hey!, - Hi! - We had a goof. One of our judges, they gave Chloe a 99.10. She actually had a 96.6. That means that the overall. winner would've been Maddie. - The director of the competition told us that there was a mistake in the scores and that I didn't really. win and Maddie won. And I was a little upset, but I was really, happy for Maddie. - So Abby, how did you discover the discrepancy between the 30 point. and the 25 point? - I didn't, it came to me. I guess the judges, said there's a problem. We have a problem. - I'm sorry.. - Yes? - You okay? I stole your score sheets. I kept them with me and I. wanted to say, once again, you know, this doesn't. happen that often at all, but I wanted to say thank you for bringing it to our attention. - Oh., - That's on me. - Liar!. - Oh. I do not remember this.. - I don't remember that. - Literally caught red handed. - She just. got called out. - Do you think Abby changed the scores? - Yeah. I think she was willing. to do whatever it took to make sure she got the outcome she wanted. - She just couldn't stand to see you happy. - No. - Yeah. That situation, actually makes me upset because that rivalry, that was created was, sure, in a sense, good for pushing the two of us to like, you know,. get better and better. But it really took me down. Sorry, I need a sec. - It's okay. - I thought I wasn't enough,, like, in every single way. And it wasn't until about a year ago that I realized the way. I felt about myself, where her words still lingering with me like 10 years later and I realized, that's not who I am. That's not my truth. She doesn't define me anymore. She doesn't get that power over me. And I've started to heal. - You don't have to. compete with anyone. You are yourself. You're beautiful and perfect. - Thank you., - Just the way you are. - And I think you're the winner. for making that realization. It shaped you as a child. - Yeah. - But you conquered it and you overcame all of that. - That's why I came, for, all this hyping. - Yeah. - Woo. - As you should.
