Football fans were in stitches after seeing where Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates had to change.

Ronaldo led his side to a 5-0 victory away at Al-Fateh last night (August 25), scoring a hat-trick and also providing a delightful backheel assist for one of Sadio Mane's two goals.

Fateh aren't as financially backed as a lot of their Saudi Pro League competitors, including the four owned by the nation's near-bottomless Public Investment Fund – Nassr, Hilal, Ahli and Ittihad.

And that showed in their away dressing room, which was just an empty room filled with bog-standard chairs where Ronaldo and Co's kit was laid out.

Reacting to a clip of it being posted on social media, one fan joked: "I thought the Saudi league was rich." Another questioned: "In Saudi??? This can’t be right."

"Ronaldo getting changed in a conference room there," commented a third, while a fourth wrote: "Spend millions on players and salaries but can’t do the same for something as simple as a dressing room."

A fifth echoed: "All that money on wages and their dressing room doesn’t even come close to a Sunday league dressing room."

"This is non-league football," argued a sixth. And a Manchester United supporter pointed out: "Imagine going from thinking the MUFC facilities were bad to this…"

The result was Nassr's first league win of the season having lost their opening two games away at Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq and at home to Al-Taawon – which could have been even worse had a fan not reminded their goalkeeper the game had started.

That 2-0 defeat left Ronaldo seething, and he was seen shoving away a fan who tried to get a selfie with him post-match. But he was back to his best against Fateh and managed to complete his treble in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time.
