Olympic boxing hero Anthony Ogogo shocked fans by returning to the pro wrestling scene at Wembley.

The 34-year-old from Lowestoft shot to fame at London 2012 by winning middleweight bronze. Following his boxing career, he turned to wrestling and was signed up by the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) promotion in 2020, initially starting off as a commentator before taking to the ring himself. He engaged in a feud with Cody Rhodes, now back in WWE, before a long spell out of action.

AEW – WWE’s biggest rival in the wrestling world – is holding its biggest ever show at the national stadium, where more than 80,000 fans are in attendance for the All In pay-per-view.

Legends like Chris Jericho and CM Punk will be in action while Ogogo made his presence felt, to the delight of fans.

He is at Wembley for All In, providing insight during the pre-show and then taking the ring with Paul Wright (AKA the Big Show) to take out wrestling icon Jeff Jarrett and his faction.

Fans were delighted, if rather surprised, to see Ogogo. Some didn’t recognise him as he looked very different from his boxing days.
