<\/p>\nEx-Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has reportedly had an image of himself holding the Premier League trophy removed from the Reds' training ground.<\/p>\n
Henderson, 33, completed a \u00a312million move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq in the summer to play under Reds hero Steven Gerrard. Henderson\u2019s departure from Anfield brought an end to a 12 year stay at the club where he became the club\u2019s captain.<\/p>\n
The England international left Anfield as one of the club\u2019s most successful captains and the first to lift the Premier League trophy, ending a 30-year title drought in 2020. Henderson also lifted the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the Community Shield as skipper.<\/p>\n

But following his exit this summer, Liverpool have reportedly \u2018removed\u2019 him from their AXA Training Centre. According to the Liverpool Echo, a picture of Henderson holding the Premier League trophy in 2020 has now been removed and replaced. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s reported that an image of Liverpool\u2019s new vice-captain and West Derby-born Trent Alexander-Arnold holding the Champions League in 2019 has replaced Henderson, alongside the quote: \u201cI'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dreams have just come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexander-Arnold took over as vice-captain from James Milner who left the club at the end of his contract before joining Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer, whilst Virgil van Dijk became club captain after Henderson\u2019s exit, in a major summer of change at Anfield.<\/p>\n

And Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who took charge at Anfield in 2015, has claimed that he\u2019s building \u2018Liverpool 2.0\u2019 with Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk to lead the new look Reds. Klopp said after the 3-1 win at home against West Ham last Sunday: \u201cI was really excited about the rebuild, the new way, the new energy.\u201d <\/p>\n
He added: \u201cWhen you want to change things you can't expect everything to click from the first moment. This was the new Liverpool, Liverpool 2.0! But this was only one glimpse of what we can be, we don't know where we can end up.\u201d<\/p>\n
