Man United star Alejandro Garnacho has been blasted by former Arsenal midfielder\u00a0Kim Kallstrom for his antics ahead of FC Copenhagen’s missed penalty in the Red Devils 1-0 win in the\u00a0Champions League.<\/p>\n
The Danish side were awarded a spot-kick in the final minute at Old Trafford after a foul by Scott McTominay, giving\u00a0Jordan Larsson the chance to secure a last-gasp draw.<\/p>\n
Larsson was denied by a superb stop from Andre Onana as the goalkeeper dived to his left to preserve Man United’s slender 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n
Footage revealed that before the penalty Garnacho had stamped on the spot using both of his feet whilst referee Marco Guida was busy dealing with remonstrating players.<\/p>\n
Garnacho’s actions were blasted by\u00a0Kallstrom, who was working as a pundit for\u00a0TV4 Play.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The former Swedish international, who played Arsenal on loan in 2014, hit out at Garnacho for ‘childish’ behaviour.<\/p>\n
‘What an ugly type,’\u00a0Kallstrom said, as reported by\u00a0Expressen.<\/p>\n
‘Ahh, I don’t know… That’s so childish.\u00a0It’s such a baby level.’<\/p>\n
Presenter\u00a0Olof Lundh responded by suggesting Garnacho should face a punishment for his actions.<\/p>\n
Both United boss Erik ten Hag and his Copenhagen counterpart Jacob Neestrup were unaware of what Garnacho had done.<\/p>\n
‘I didn’t see it. The referee probably didn’t see it either. I don’t know,’ Ten Hag told TNT Sports.<\/p>\n
Onana’s crucial penalty spot earned Man United a vital 1-0 win, with the result boosting their hopes of reaching the Champions League knock-out stages.<\/p>\n
The goalkeeper’s stop provided a massive boost after a difficult start to life at Man United following his\u00a0\u00a347million move from Inter Milan.<\/p>\n

Another much maligned Man United star emerged as a hero on the night, with Harry Maguire scoring the only goal of the match.<\/p>\n
Maguire headed home a Christian Eriksen cross in the 72nd minute.<\/p>\n
The England international admitted afterwards that ‘it was meant to be’ for him to score winner\u00a0following a torrid 12 months at the club.<\/p>\n
Maguire he still stressed that the evening belonged to a former Manchester United great, with the club paying tribute to the late Sir Bobby Charlton.<\/p>\n
