Tottenham look set to raid Juventus for a third time as they are reportedly interested in signing left-back Andrea Cambiaso. The Lilywhites have already managed to prise two players away from the Italian giants in recent years after snapping up Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.

Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa last summer but was instantly shipped off on loan to Bologna. He returned to Turin ahead of the new campaign and has gone on to feature in nine of his side’s first 10 Serie A matches. The 23-year-old even popped up with a 96th-minute winning strike on Saturday as Juve defeated Verona 1-0.

According to CalcioMercato, Cambiaso was a man in demand during the summer, with Premier League clubs, AC Milan and Fiorentina coming forward over a potential transfer. And there is now talk of interest from Tottenham.

Cambiaso won eight caps for the Italy under-21s team and Luciano Spalletti is now studying the ace with a view of calling him up to Italy’s senior team. And it appears the player has a bright future at the top of the game after racking up 67 appearances in Serie A since making his top-flight debut for Genoa in 2021.

But in Cambiaso, Spurs would have another adroit left sided defender to battle for the starting shirt.

Tottenham are no strangers to working with Juventus in the transfer market and secured the signatures of Kulusevski and Bentancur at the end of the January transfer window in 2022. Bentancur joined for a fee of £15.9million plus £5m in add-ons, while Kulusevski moved to north London on an initial 18-month loan deal worth £8.3m before making his transfer permanent in June for an extra £25m.
