Dominik Szoboszlai has let slip on potential issues within the Liverpool dressing room before his arrival last summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old has quickly established himself as a vital cog in Jurgen Klopp’s resurgent Reds team, starting all 10 Premier League games and another in the League Cup following his \u00a360million move from RB Leipzig.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Anfield club have recorded seven league wins, three Europa League\u00a0victories have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup in a start to the season that has many wondering how far this new-look side can go.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But amidst the recent good vibes, the Hungary captain has revealed problems which may have affected the team in the past.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Everyone wants to get into the starting XI, that\u2019s normal and that\u2019s how it should be, the goal in every team,’ he told\u00a0journalist Ben Bocsak in an interview with Hungarian podcast Premier Leak.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following a summer of upheaval the Reds look to have established a new group who will be ready to challenge for major honours in the years to come<\/p>\n
‘Who is satisfied with sitting on the bench? I\u2019m going to be honest, there are a few. Actually before I came here there were some [at Liverpool] as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I won\u2019t name names, but I heard about it.’ He continued: ‘Personally, I want to play in every game, even if I\u2019m a bit tired.<\/p>\n
‘Anything, whether it\u2019s the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Premier League, national team, anything.’<\/p>\n
Competition for a starting spot in Klopp’s midfield is fierce with the likes of Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliot and Curtis Jones fight for a place in the middle of the park alongside the Hungarian and Alexis Mac Allister.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Veteran Thiago Alcantara and youngster Stefan Bajcetic will also add to the numbers when they return from long-term injuries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Liverpool take on Premier League newcomers Luton at Kenilworth Road on Sunday with their burgeoning star who is quickly approaching 250 senior appearances at club level despite his tender age.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I’m in a good condition when I\u2019m constantly needed,’ he added. ‘I\u2019m in the best condition when I can play on Thursday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
‘Because then there\u2019s no training, recovery, concentration, match, recovery, match, and this goes on and on, and this is perfect for me.’<\/p>\n
