That caution was the third yellow card shown to the Manchester United manager this season, with Ten Hag also booked against Tottenham and Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p>The card, shown by referee Graham Scott, came after the former Ajax boss expressed his frustation at the overturning of a throw-in decision that granted Luton the ball.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was the second time,\u201d Ten Hag explained afterwards. \u201cI was on top of it and it was so clear and obvious [it was] our ball. It was my remark, therefore, I got booked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.independent.co.uk\/2023\/11\/24\/13\/newFile-5.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Mitchell van der Gaag (left) and Steve McClaren (right) assist Erik ten Hag<\/p>\n<p>A one-match touchline suspension will be served on Merseyside on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, that\u2019s the way [it is],\u201d Ten Hag said when asked by BeIN Sports about the ban. \u201cSo I have to accept that.
