The supposed accreditation pass Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wore at Craven Cottage was allegedly found in a bush outside Fulham’s ground.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Forest were hammered 5-0 by the Cottagers on Wednesday evening thanks to braces from Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez, while Tom Cairney also netted.<\/p>\n
The result left Forest boss Steve Cooper facing the sack after a fourth consecutive defeat which means his side are just six points clear of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n
And, according to one Fulham fan on social media, Greek businessman Marinakis could barely contain his anger after their defeat.<\/p>\n
Sharing a photo of what seems to be Marinakis’ official lanyard from the match, they posted on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Found this thrown on a bush in someone\u2019s front garden just outside Craven Cottage\u2026 someone clearly left in a strop\u2026’<\/p>\n

It has been a tough month for the 56-year-old with Olympiacos crashing out of the Europa League group stage, while they also lie fourth in the Greek Superleague.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mail Sport understands Marinakis – who has not spoken to Cooper since the defeat – is now poised to start the hunt for his replacement,\u00a0with former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui one of the coaches he admires.<\/p>\n
Another is the manager who looks set to have ended the Cooper era \u2014 Fulham\u2019s Marco Silva, who worked under Marinakis at Olympiacos.<\/p>\n
The East Midlands outfit have just 13 points in 15 league games and despite a bright start to the season, they have won one of their past 11 matches.<\/p>\n
Forest return to action on Saturday with a trip to Wolves, who are five points clear of them after beating Burnley 1-0 on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
